Inside Sales Representative

Open to candidates anywhere in the US, West or Midwest preferred (Headquarters is in Rochester, New York)

Innovative is seeking an Inside Sales Representative with a passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for building relationships. The ideal candidate is excited and motivated by the ever-changing technology industry, and is a proven catalyst for generating new business. 

 

Responsible for:

  • Collaboratively working with the Sales, Marketing, and Alliances teams to develop lead generation strategies and inbound/outbound campaigns
  • Developing lead generation tactics and outreach strategies specific to each campaign based on market research and desired outcomes
  • Prospecting, qualifying, and following up on leads for the Sales team, and scheduling discovery meetings with key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Leading selective customer sales cycles from beginning to end, with oversight from Sales Leadership
  • Assisting the Sales team with legacy accounts that exist within their assigned territory
  • Assisting the Sales and Marketing teams by conducting follow-ups from phone campaigns, e-mail campaigns, events, and web inquiries
  • Utilizing Salesforce.com to capture detailed information regarding all prospecting activity efforts and facilitating lead flow through pipeline
  • Working with the Alliances and Marketing teams to identify opportunities within untapped verticals, territories, and partnerships
  • Owning and driving AWS relationships within your assigned territory
  • Identifying new ways to work with partner seller teams collaboratively and efficiently
  • Attending seminars, webinars, and networking events on behalf of the Innovative brand

What experience you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification preferred, must be obtained upon hire
  • Highly skilled in prospecting techniques (including cold calling!)
  • Understanding of CRM technologies, specifically Salesforce, as well as B2B Marketing tools
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing cloud technologies
  • Formal sales training preferred, but not necessary
  • Accustomed to being held to daily/weekly/monthly productivity metrics
