In March 2017, Monroe Wheelchair was impacted by a major windstorm that created over a week of downtime and a significant loss in revenue. The organization needed a way for their users to access their IT infrastructure and sensitive PHI data, even in the case of a site failure. Monroe Wheelchair’s on-premise infrastructure was end-of-life and no longer supported. It could not meet the recovery time objective (RTO) and recovery point objective (RPO) expectations of Monroe Wheelchair.
